WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS
Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes.
They are a synthetic eyelash, applied with medical-grade adhesive, directly to the natural lash line.
I use premium man-made silk extensions which are ultra-black in colour with a velvet sheen. This eyelash type is slightly tapered at the end of the extension, making the lash body very full and dramatic. They also keep their curl for the length of the lash cycle.
Flat lashes, ombre and coloured lashes are also an option and completely customisable.
Each client's lashes are customised with different curls, lengths and thicknesses to suit the individual.
HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
Extensions can last as long as six weeks, as they generally last until the natural lash falls out in its natural cycle.
However, if you wish to maintain them, it is recommended to have refills approximately every 2 – 3 weeks (depending on your natural lash cycle, and how well you take care of them), as by this stage some would have fallen out and new lashes have grown through.
How long your eyelash extensions last depends almost entirely on how you care for them as well. For example, removing makeup correctly, not wearing mascara, not using oily products near your eyelashes, not tugging or pulling at your eyelash extensions, and keeping them clean with lash shampoo.
ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGING?
Eyelash extensions are applied taking special care to ensure your eyelash health. Only the healthiest, longest lashes are selected for application to eliminate damage to the natural lash.
I advise in regards to the maximum thickness and length that would be appropriate long-term for your natural lashes.
The eyelash extensions come off when your natural lash falls out, and so long as an appropriate weight extension has been applied, your natural lashes will grow through as normal.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY EXTENSIONS?
There are a few simple steps you can take to make sure you get the most out of your eyelash extensions.
At your appointment, you'll be given an after-care card outlining how to take care of them.
The main things to remember are:
Clean lashes are happy lashes!
Cleanse them properly with lash Shampoo every 2-3 days.
Use only oil-free makeup remover products.
Be gentle when getting facials.
Do not rub, pull or pick at them.
Do not use an eyelash curler.
If exposed to chlorine or salt water, rinse off gently with fresh water afterwards swimming.
Gently brush them with your lash wand.
NO mascara.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
PLEASE Arrive with clean eyes and eyelashes, free of makeup, and NO mascara. Some mascaras contain oils that can prevent eyelash extensions bonding correctly.
And PLEASE take out your contact lenses.
WHY DO I NEED REFILLS
The eyelash extensions fall out with your natural lash cycle, which is 6-8 weeks. It's a gradual thing, and you'll have new baby lashes coming through.
After 2 or 3 weeks you will start seeing little gaps where the old ones have fallen out, and new ones are coming through.
Some older lashes would have grown longer and will need the extension to be gently removed.
At this point it’s a good time to get refills, so your lashes always look nice and full.
WHAT IF I HAVE SENSITIVE EYES?
Skin sensitivities & allergies from extensions can happen.
I use the highest quality products and sterilisation protocols. However, if you are concerned or are prone to sensitivities, there are steps I can take which can help minimise sensitivity, or we can arrange a patch test several days before your appointment.

Children
I kindly ask that you please do NOT bring your small children (under 8 yrs old) to appointments. This is your time to relax, and you will have your eyes closed from 1-3 hours where you will not be able to tend to your children & nor will I.

I am located in a space at Regal Professional Centre, 118 Main Street Mittagong, NSW. Just up the stairs.
Cancellation Policy
I understand last-minute emergencies pop-up. However, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
Rescheduling/Cancellations are appreciated 24 hours in advance, if possible.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late I may not be able to extend your appointment time. Being on time means lots of lash time!
